This desk features heavy-duty double wheels that are hooded for your safety. Two of the wheels have locking mechanisms to keep your computer cart in place. The integrated wire CD racks will hold dozens of CD/DVD jewel cases. “Rolling Computer Type”

This item was a gift for my daughter and her husband and my two grandsons. They have limited space for their computer, but we were able to determine that the width of the wall at the bottom of the stairs was perfect for this cart. It was very easy to assemble and once assembled and all of the computer equipment was transferred to the cart there was more room for everything then any of us thought possible. The placement of the CPU on the stand at the bottom was an excellent design feature. Their flat screen monotor and the external DVD writer (in a vertical position) are the only items on the desktop. The top shelf was the perfect width to hold the Cable modem in a vertical position as well as the speakers and their multifunction printer. The DVD/CD storage units on each side of the desktop had more than enough space to hold all of their media. The quality of the item was more than I had anticipated. It is sturdy and very well constructed. I would recommend this item to anyone that needs a rolling computer cart in “tight” spaces. For them, they only need to pull out the keyboard tray (which has plenty of width for the mouse and papers), slide in a chair and get to work. It has been a great addition to their home and they are very happy with it (as am I).

I am very pleased with my purchase. Now that I have it all together in the correct manner it is really servicable for my needs. I am pleased with the look and the conveniences it offers. It fits in a small space, but still offers the areas I need for my monitor, printer, computer, etc. I am very happy that I bought it.

This computer desk was everything I wanted: compact but functional, easy to put together, movable, sturdy and attractive. This desk fits all these criteria and more. The pieces are clearly marked for assembly, and appear to be very well made. It has a nice, solid feel without being bulky, and a clean, modern look. It is big enough to give you work space in addition to your computer, but still not take up too much room.

This is one well designed desk, especially for the price. The upper shelf in high enough to fit a good sized monitor on the desk below, but not so high as to be difficult to access for a short person. The lower shelf is perfect for storing peripherals or a tower. While I expect the “original price” is way high, I could totally see this in a store for $100.
